Just now, I was reading the comments on a previous blog post and smiled when I read the response submitted by the subject of the post, particularly this: “She certainly shocked the shit out of me with her offer. I knew she was serious too. That’s how she is.”
Coincidentally, earlier this morning, another play partner commented, “Some of your best techniques involve just telling me what might happen. Unlike with most people, it’s really effective with you, because I know from repeated experience that you are always sincere and could well do it.”
I wish I could explain why this makes me so happy. Maybe it’s because, despite being in the “dominatrix fantasy business,” I don’t spend very much time at all pretending and, apparently, it shows. Fantasies, I’ve always felt, are best regarded as blueprints for what’s actually going to happen. Maybe it pleases the journalist in me that understands that truth holds more power than fiction. Maybe I just like it cause it shows they trust me — and with trust, we can go anywhere.
It should make YOU happy because it actually inspired me to post a new blog. Now that I’ve broken my unintentional silence, maybe there’s a flood to follow.
Thrilled to see the blog reactivated! Apres une, le deluge? Here’s to anticipating more posts.
I think the comments you quoted appeal to you because you are the real deal, and that’s what appeals to those who know you. It’s not a costume you wear or a role you play, it’s you. In a world of fakes, wannabees, dress ups, and posers, it’s a joy to find something true and authentic and unique. It’s not a person in a tiger costume, it’s the tiger. And when that tiger goes tiger, well, it’s something to see.
Pure, straight-up, stand-up, uncut. Lacking any pretense or artifice.
Great to see new you on the screen.

“When that tiger goes tiger” … I love that.
